The floristry world gets crazy for mom’s day, but as a child I mostly just remember spending the day with family that honored my grandmas, aunts, and of course my mom. After a big dinner at grandma’s, we’d go walk the railroad tracks or visit the cemetery looking for pasque flowers and asparagus. Life then was simple and simply magical in my eyes. I thank my mom everyday for making it that way for me!

Bokay Studio will have fresh flowers starting May 7 the week before Mother’s Day May 12. Please order early for arranged bokays or stop in for wraps. I’ve enjoyed supporting local makers, illustrators, artists, by selling their cards and original art. Gifting a card with a heartfelt message to a mom figure in your life is a treasure!
